My advice is to get to those Friends as soon as possible! Planes, Trains, whatever it takes! Get there and get Stable!
I'd give you something to help you along your way, but it seems like that's not going to be an option...
Perhaps your Friends might be able to Float you a Ticket or something and you can reimburse them later?
